That, yes, but: machine learning has reached a new quality that will change all areas of life. From cancer diagnosis to school teaching. What is Treffpunkt Science City?
Treffpunkt Science City is ETH Zurich’s public science programme for all ages held in German. From kids’ university to seniors’ university and public lectures, the programme has something for everyone. The free events bring people from all generations together to experience the exciting world of research. Everyone is welcome – just come along! In lectures, experiments, lab tours and panel discussions, curious minds can discover how new knowledge emerges and influences the world we live in. Running for around five weeks in spring and autumn, each programme tackles a different theme. Every year, Treffpunkt Science City attracts over 23,000 visitors, including 5,000 children and teenagers. Recordings of the lectures and panel discussions clock up some 10,000 views online.
