As the “voice” of ETH, the telephone switchboard gives you the information you need in a quick, thorough, and straightforward manner. This lessens the workload for the science, teaching and research staff as well as the central administrative units.

The ETH telephone switchboard acts as your competent and reliable information provider. It can provide you with updates or contact details of your favoured expert for Switzerland and abroad.
Telephone service for ETH members
Our telephone service will take your calls in your absence during business hours. Press 111 to activate call forwarding and we will manage your incoming calls. You can do this from anywhere through our Phone Control Center. We take your incoming messages, record all relevant caller details and send these to you via email directly after the call. Our Telephone Service is your personal receptionist, managing your calls even when you’re absent for longer periods.
