Financial
We recommend that you clarify the financing of your studies at an early date. Here it is important to plan for their entire duration. The financing of studies is primarily the responsibility of the student and his/her family; in certain circumstances scholarships and/or loans are available from public or private bodies to complement this.
As far as the curriculum allows, paid part-time work is also possible during studies. This may be within ETH, e.g. as a Hilfsassistent [Junior Assistant], or outside it. Foreign students are allowed to work up to 15 hours per week during the semester and as much as they like during semester breaks, but must first obtain a work permit.
If you have questions regarding the financing of your studies please visit us during our office hours. We will be happy to advise you.
