The ETH Sustainability Office is the central hub for the coordination of sustainability activities at ETH Zurich. It makes knowledge about sustainability available for ETH Zurich itself and for society.
Open Office ETH Sustainability
Every two weeks the ETH Sustainability office at Weinbergstrasse 41 (directly at ETH-link and tram stop Haldenegg) is open for sponaneous encounters, exchange and ideation, combined with tea, coffee or a drink. Come by and use this space. We look forward to meeting you.

ETH Sustainability is committed to increasing ETH Zurich's contribution to sustainable development and to communicating this internally and externally. The team ETH Sustainability coordinates the ETH Net Zero activities and is responsible for sustainability reporting, managing the ETH Air Travel Project and the Sustainable Gastronomy Project, compiling the catalogue of sustainability-related lectures, and organising the Public Lecture series "Sustainable Development Goals in Context".
The team maintains relationships with the external pageSustainable Switzerland platform and with other national and international networks. ETH Sustainability co-creates and moderates internal and external events, among others for the program external page“Vorbild Energie und Klima” (VBE campaigns), together with ETH Public Tours or with external pageGreenBuzz. As a central hub, the ETH Sustainability team supports the integration of sustainability initiatives at ETH Zurich as well as projects and individuals that contribute to sustainability at the University. It curates the community platform Point.
ETH Sustainability was created by the President in 2008 and has since shaped numerous groundbreaking projects and processes (see archive). In the organisational structure of ETH Zurich, the ETH Sustainability team is now anchored within the Office of the President.
