Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering, Basel
The Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering (D-BSSE) is located in Basel. Its proximity to biochemistry and pharmaceutical companies offers scientists perfect conditions for interdisciplinary research projects. ETH Zurich also maintains close links with the University of Basel. In many fields, the areas of expertise of the two universities complement each other very well.

- Take Tram no. 2 (10 mins.)
- Get off at the stop “Gewerbeschule” on Mattenstrasse
- Cross the tram tracks and follow Mattenstrasse for about 150 m.

Directions from German Railway Station (Deutsche Bahn)
The Biopark Rosental is right in front of the Railway Station "Badischer Bahnhof". Walk around the Syngenta site via Schwarzwaldstrasse and Rosentalstrasse, then follow Mattenstrasse for about 150 m.

- Take bus no. 50 to Basel SBB Railway Station (17 mins.)
- Then take tram no. 2 (10 mins.)
